Netbook customization
Sorry about the lack of posting! Busy with school, work and other related activities.
Lets all get caught up thought:
With google chrome OS (the REAL gos?) being talked about I started looking back into previous linux distros. I had a bad experince with them about a year ago so i've been a strict customize windows only type of guy since then. However it does seem like it would be a lot easier to do things with the new 'cloud' era of the os. From what I've gotten from it so far the OS would actually run either on windows or another distro inside of chrome or firefox (gOS has a cloud system that works within firefox). I like this. Netbooks are meant to be portable and online - 98% of the time. These new web app OS type systems will function wonderfully awesome imho.
So, What are your thoughts? Google OS in, Windows out? Well, I think w7 will have the ability to regain some of the loss ground experinced by vista but will it be enough? TO be honest - I really like w7 and how customizable it is but I think google OS or another cloud based OS is going to make a larger impact in OS updates in the next 1-3 years.
